Located at The Phoenix Sports Ground on Institute Road, we're a vibrant and growing rugby club dedicated to promoting fun, inclusive, and competitive rugby for all. Whether you're brand new to the sport, returning after a break, or still chasing the game as the years go by — there's a place for you at Phoenix.

We pride ourselves on our welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. With the support of our passionate and experienced coaching team, players of all levels are encouraged to grow their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie that rugby brings.

What We Offer

Two Senior Teams – Competing weekly and always on the lookout for fresh talent.

Thriving Junior Section – For ages 6–17, helping young players fall in love with the game.

Women’s Team – Newly formed and growing fast. Come be part of something exciting!

Tag Rugby Team – Open to all abilities, focused on connection, movement, and fun.

We’re also keen to welcome new coaches, volunteers, and supporters. You don’t have to play to be part of the Phoenix family — we love hearing cheers from the sidelines and seeing faces at our regular club socials.

Matches on Saturdays throughout the rugby season (August–April)
